Friends, Wordpress 2.6 is out, which means support for 2.5 is dead. If you're running Wordpress and want to attempt to keep pace with the evil doers you probably need to consider upgrading.
Wordpress 2.6 does bring some new features worth a look, such as version control and theme previews.
Watch out though, during this upgrade my login appeared to be hosed. Clear your cookies before attempting to submit a username/pass combination to the new version. Cool right?

I thought I'd throw out a quick message related to site news, if this Oklahoma weather doesn't DoS me before I hit publish.
The message: I just got done renewing my domain and hosting for another year. So while I've been wicked lazy pushing out information on my latest goings-on on-going, I'll be continuing the trend well into June of '09! Look forward to it.

Yesterday was my last day as a full-time .Net developer. I've taken a new position that has more of a focus toward information security. Hopefully I won't be dumping all of my development skills. I'll still continue with research and items that interest me on the home front, but I will likely be focusing much more time toward security/administration/etc.
As a side note, my supervisor gave me a lovely parting gift that any code monkey would be proud to receive:

Fuel for the soul.

After years of running CalculatedDecision.com on nothing more than a pile of .html pages I've decided to take the page into Wordpress. The pages were disgustingly constructed, thanks to Dreamweaver's IDE and my laziness. Following my gut, I decided to throw them all out! I'll be slowly seeding the new format with salvaged CD content, this is quite a process.
Hopefully this move will result in a cleaner and more interactive experience. Let me know what you think.
